Questions
When is my model being retired?
Search the model name or ID. Every row shows the retirement date the vendor published, the replacement it recommends and a link to the vendor's deprecation page. The calendar feed for a vendor (ICS) puts every date in your own calendar.
What is the difference between deprecated and retired?
Deprecated means the vendor has announced an end: the model or API still works, but you should move. Retired (shut down, end of life) means requests fail from that date. This site lists the retirement date; the announcement date is shown where the vendor gives it.
What does "not sooner than" mean?
Some vendors publish the earliest possible retirement date for models that are still current (Anthropic, and Google for some models). Those rows are marked "Not sooner than" and are never counted as due: the real date is announced later, with notice.
Is the same model retired on the same day everywhere?
No. Amazon Bedrock, Azure and Google Cloud each set their own dates for models they host, which can differ from the model maker's API. Each platform is its own row.
How fresh is this?
Every Monday the site reads each vendor's page again; every day it re-reads the pages of anything due within 30 days. A moved date is recorded as a dated change (old date, new date, source), never overwritten.
Something is wrong or missing. How do I fix it?
Every item page has Suggest a correction, and the lists have Suggest a missing retirement. Each suggestion is checked against the vendor's page before anything changes.
